Sample Building Supply has extensive experience in doing blueprint takeoffs, providing detailed estimates on framing lumber, engineered lumber, and millwork promptly and accurately. Our experienced estimators can also suggest alternate products or other ways of helping reducing cost while maintaining the quality and integrity of your project. We also offer rough estimates to help you get an idea of possible solutions that generally fall within the scope and budget of your project.

Sample Building Supply uses Sapphire Software Suite to create detailed engineered wood floor, roof, and wall layouts. Load calculation and hanger scheduling are also included so you’ll have all the information you need. Sample Building Supply is one of the few local builder material dealers that also offer roof and floor truss and wall panel manufacturing, giving you a valuable range of options for your project.

We host a series of “Sample Building Supply Days” when our manufacturing partners bring samples and explain the benefits and uses of their products. Each of our five kitchen and bath showrooms hosts an expert staff of kitchen designers, trained to plan beautiful and functional spaces that fit the way you and your family live. Our designers can help you with the initial visualization process, create detailed renderings in our 2020 software, and assist in hardware and countertop choices. The services of our kitchen designers are included with the purchase of your kitchen.

Kitchens by Sample Building Supply has five kitchen and bath showrooms in the Southern NJ region. You can see, touch, and experience many of the different options available. We offer free delivery for our kitchen cabinetry orders within our regular delivery area.

Our fleet of over 30 vehicles – including box trucks, pickups, flat beds, moffett lift-equipped flat beds, and special adjustable trailers for trusses – allow us to deliver your order securely and safely. Our box trucks ensure that your millwork and other fragile building materials get to the job site without damage. Our hydraulic-lift flatbeds and tractor trailers deliver large amounts of building materials quickly and conveniently. Our moffett lift-equipped flatbeds offer even more convenient placement of materials.

We consult with you to arrange delivery times that work best for your job schedule. Our delivery vehicles are GPS enabled to facilitate timely deliveries. Our drivers are fully licensed and insured – most of them have over 10 years of experience. Upon arrival at your location, they will evaluate the onsite conditions in order to determine the most advantageous placement of items in your order.

Our experienced freight loaders strive to load delivery vehicles so they can be unloaded in the order materials are needed after safe transport to your job site. Our experienced team knows that you don’t want to be digging through a load of materials to get what you need. We have years of experience handling and delivering fragile millwork products.

Sample Building Supply’s craftsmen use our pre-hung door machine to pre-hang interior door slabs and machine them for your door openings. We can prepare single and double doors jambs to your specifications. We have multiple hinge and casing options for you to choose from. Our door shop is particularly helpful for saving time and money in new home, multi-family, apartment, and commercial projects.

Tool repair: We repair most brands of both power and pneumatic tools, with a typical turnaround time of one to two weeks. Sharpening service: Tools don’t work well if they’re dull, so bring them to us for sharpening. Window repair: As part of the Andersen Dealer Network, we repair Andersen Window products, including screens.
